Announcing Hathora's Acceptance to NVIDIA's Inception Program
We're excited to announce that Hathora has been accepted into the NVIDIA Inception program.
Why a Gaming Infrastructure Company Will Power AI Workloads
Gaming doesn't tolerate excuses. Real-time performance isn't a nice-to-have feature you can optimize later—it's existential. If your multiplayer server lags, players leave.
We can't speak to NVIDIA journey from gaming to AI, but this feedback loop taught us these foundational lessons:
- Developers need tools and abstractions, not just raw compute
- Scale problems reveal themselves immediately and demand elegant solutions
- Low latency and high throughput aren't competing priorities—they're both non-negotiable

Hathora's technical DNA required to solve these problems—distributed systems, resource optimization, performance monitoring, developer-first APIs—turns out to be exactly what AI workloads need. When you've spent years solving hard problems for game developers, you've built technology that becomes foundational for the next computing paradigm.
We didn't imagine we'd be hosting voice AI models when we built infrastructure to help developers scale multiplayer servers. But the infrastructure that handles millions of concurrent game sessions translates remarkably well to orchestrating GPU workloads for AI inference.
Why NVIDIA Inception Matters (and What's Next)
While the NVIDIA Inception program provides technical resources, go-to-market support, and access to NVIDIA's ecosystem, we plan to hit the ground running and ship new products. Starting with models marketplace, our open-source model hosting platform - starting with voice - we're proving that deploying sophisticated AI models doesn't require a team of infrastructure engineers.

Looking Forward
With NVIDIA Inception backing our growth, we're accelerating the timeline for making GPU-powered AI as accessible as any other cloud service, with low-latency to boot. As we keep shipping, keep an eye out for the upcoming launch on November 11. Join us IRL in SF to celebrate.
