The US Open is in full swing but we’re been hitting our own Grand Slams. We shipped fewer user-facing changes this month but that was intentional. August was a momentous month for Hathora as we supported 3 major launches on our platform. Let’s play 🎾

Hard launching 🚀

Our customers took a bet on us and we’ve been waiting for them to take our platform for a spin. On August 13th, both Stormgate and Spectre Divide launched their games into Early Access and Closed Beta respectively. Over the course of the week, we saw tens of thousands of players share these games on our platform. During their Closed Beta, Spectre Divide was the 4th most streamed game on Twitch (all running on Hathora🔥🪭).

To top it off, Splitgate 2 officially announced their game and ran their initial Closed Alpha playtest on Hathora😎

Oh yeah, and Spectre Divide fully launched today (free-to-play) 🎮

🔍 View upcoming invoices

Sometimes surprises aren’t ideal. As more games go live on our platform, the visibility of upcoming invoices becomes more important. This month we released a new feature on the Billing page that allows you to see upcoming invoices. Worth noting that these invoices are updated dynamically as your monthly usage accrues.

Live Services Gaming Summit

We’ll be making our way across the pond again for the Live Services Gaming Summit in London. Sid, our Co-Founder and CEO, will be participating in a panel on our favorite topic: performant gaming infrastructure.
